3 Know your pool

Get your pool’s volume right.

Volume sets how much to add every time you treat the water, so it’s one of the first things TED asks about your pool. Measure the length, width and average depth, and the calculator does the maths.

Measure in metres. For an irregular or kidney pool, average the widest and narrowest points to get a useful width.

Keep the context

TED remembers the pool behind the question.

These tools start from scratch each time. TED keeps your pool profile, every test you log and your energy plan, so its answers fit your pool.
